Episode synopsis
Successful lawyer Defne Derin, while carrying the burden of her family on her shoulders, is also struggling to keep the law firm she is a partner in afloat. However, an unexpected crisis leaves her facing one of the hardest decisions of her life. Left with no choice, Defne will ask for a loan from her school friend, the heir to Bartıner Holding. With this decision, Defne finds herself at an invitation she believes she doesn't belong to. That night, it will be the stage for encounters that will affect not only her career but also her heart. Defne, whose paths cross with charismatic architect Tolga Erez and powerful businessman Kadir Emindağ, unwittingly finds herself at the center of events that will completely change her life. A single step she takes will drag her to the beginning of a journey with no return.

Defne, a woman in her thirties, is strong and composed, having built her career through hard work.
