Adaptation of the once very loud, today somewhat forgotten book of Jaroslaw Iwaszkiewicz . "Fame and Glory" is the most extensive novel by the author of "Brzezina". Written with epic panache, it outlines the history of the Polish intelligentsia from "the first days of July 1914" to the fall of 1947.
